"We had a truly great experience working with Jonathan during our apartment search and move-in process. From the very beginning, he was incredibly friendly, approachable, and professional. When he first showed us the apartment we eventually decided on, he took the time to walk us through everything carefully, answer our questions, and make sure we had all the information we needed to feel confident about the decision. Throughout the entire process, Jonathan was consistently responsive, patient, and thoughtful. Despite having many questions questions both before signing the lease and after moving in, he always answered them quickly and thoroughly. At no point did he make us feel like we were asking too much or being a burden. "Lived here two years and honestly the building is not great - things are constantly breaking, amenities are not even that nice for what they charge - pool is always freezing, terrace is not rooftop, and no in unit laundry and everyone's things are always stolen. Management is the biggest issue though, they are nasty and adversarial and do not know what customer service means. They gaslit me about my actual gas leak in my apartment for months. I had to get the emergency utility company to come and by that point I already went to the ER due to being exposed to the leak for months. They do not fix things either, and the door staff have slammed the door in my face numerous times since they've hired new contractors. There are constant issues with the water spouting black sludge. The security is also awful since they let anyone just walk in - except when you have someone visiting who is supposed to be allowed in (or even myself)! The amenities are also down all the time. Rodney (once of the concierges) is the only good thing about this building. Location is convenient but otherwise do not recommend getting trapped here truthfully. They do not care about residents, raise the rent to the max every year and refuse to negotiate, and it's not worth the price."

"Just wanted make a quick review of the maintenence staff here at Avalon Midtown West. Everyone has been quick to respond and very efficient in fixing problems. Today we noticed our A/C unit was making a lot of noise, Mr Sow came and fixed the problem quickly, followed all our entry instructions and was nice to our cat. We are really appreciative of all the hard work the maintenance crew does for the building."
